Place the helmet so that it is not too far back (it would not protect the forehead) nor too far forward (it would limit your view).

Fasten the straps under the chin so that they are secure but do not restrict breathing.
- Measure the head circumference with a tailor’s tape around the widest part of the head – usually across the forehead and the back of the head.
