Handlebars are mainly divided according to the diameter of the tube and the material from which they are made. The standard inner diameter is 28 mm (fits the fork). Some handlebars have a larger internal diameter (35 mm), which are made for the HIC compression system.
WARNING aluminum alloy handlebars have an internal diameter of 28 and an external diameter of 35 mm! It is precisely because of the manufacturing material. Aluminum handlebars are indeed lightweight, but they need to have a different tube thickness to be more durable and not break.
Handlebars are also divided by size (length), width, and shape. The most common lengths are 600 mm and 650 mm. At Scootshop handlebars, you can choose your own handlebar size (width and length).
Handlebars can also have backweep (the top tube is shaped more towards the rider's body) or upsweep (the handlebars are shaped more upwards, essentially in a V shape)
