Bars are mainly divided according to tube diameter and the material they are made of. The classic inner diameter is 28 mm (fits the fork). Some bars have a larger inner diameter (35 mm), these are made for the HIC compression system.
ATTENTION bars made from aluminum alloys have an inner diameter of 28 and outer diameter of 35 mm! This is because of the manufacturing material. Aluminum bars are light, but they must have a different tube thickness to be stronger and not break.
Bars are also divided according to size (height), width and shape. The most common height is 600 mm and 650 mm. With Scootshop bars you can choose your own bar size (width and height).
Bars can also have backweep (the top tube is shaped more towards the rider’s body) or upsweep (the bars are shaped more upwards, basically into a V shape)
