Injury of Adam Čermák

Hi, I'm Adam Čermák and I would like to explain why I haven't been very active lately and what actually happened to me.

Easter Monday was the last day the Pardubice skatepark was open before the renovation. I decided to nostalgically go for a ride in the old SK8 park. As I was heading to the park, I thought to myself that today I'm in the mood to flip something! Well, since I'm a complete failure at flair, flipping that old corner was an option. I told myself I could do it, shouted to the guys, "watch me flip it now," and I did.

But since I had never done it before, I turned it quite well, but it unraveled before the end.

And that was a mistake when I landed and felt something pop in my knee, I knew right away that it wasn't just for a week. But as it often happens, if you don't have it recorded, it's like you didn't do it! So I pushed through the terrible pain and tried again (check IG: cermak_adam) it was the end. Then I faced a month-long wait for the surgery. Now we are 2 months post-surgery and I'm slowly starting to drive.

I'm sorry I couldn't ride with the guys in the European races, but hopefully next year.
