How to clean the bearings

Step-by-step bearing cleaning process

We all know it, you're riding and instead of the bearings spinning smoothly, they squeak, grind, and just scream down the whole street. You don't want that! Exchange? Maybe yes, but perhaps their time has not yet come and there is no need to waste money on new bearings unnecessarily. How about cleaning the bearings? Okay, you might be asking, but how??? Here is the "step-by-step" process... Don't worry, it's mostly pictures!! :))

1. Prepare: a cloth/rag, Bones speed cream or another bearing oil, a carpet/utility or other thin and sharp knife, wheels

2. Clean the bearings from dirt

3. Take a utility knife/box cutter or another knife and carefully pry off the bearing cover.

4. Put a few drops of oil into the bearing

5. Carefully press the cap back into the bearing

6. Wipe the bearing once more with a cloth to ensure that no oil or other dirt remains on it. And that's it. The bearings should now spin like a charm :)
