Thanks to the front load assembly, your handlebars will be mounted slightly lower, providing not only a sleeker appearance but also greater stability and better control. Given that the handlebars are a bit further from the rider, the front load mounting system is often chosen by tall riders. This Salt stem weighs only 243 g and won't add much to the weight of your setup. This extra short 40 mm stem is specially designed for 16" and 18" BMX bikes. Thanks to the classic diameter of 22.2 mm, this stem is compatible with handlebars of any standard size.
