Scootshop Cup 2023 | Grand Prix of Prague

The first race of the Scootshop Cup series at the Újezd nad Lesy skatepark in Prague is behind us! The first-ever online scoring in freestyle scootering in the Czech Republic! 3. 6. In 2023, Scootshop.cz organized the first race of the Scootshop Cup in Prague, which consists of four freestyle scootering races - Prague, Brno, Krnov, and Hradec Králové.

The first stop of the Prague Grand Prix was held in Újezd nad Lesy, where the race was inaugurated by the mayor of the Prague 21 district, who was pleasantly surprised by the participation and excellent organization.

Even though the sport was relatively new to him, he was enthusiastic and warmly supported this sporting event.

The jury lineup for the historically first online scoring (Jiří Volenec, Jiří Kužel, Matěj Vlasák, Filip Huser, and Petr Strnadel) was certainly very pleasant for the riders, as they could know the results of their ride immediately.

In addition to a beautiful sunny day and online scoring, riders could look forward to great prizes from our partners, such as

Striker pro scooters or Centrano, who are some of the largest sellers of freestyle scooters in Europe.

Unfortunately, sometimes races do not go without injuries, and Ondra Roman, who was a promising candidate for the win, unexpectedly broke his arm. Anyway, Ondra is fine.

At the Prague Grand Prix, many riders dominated, but there were two riders who delivered such an excellent and clean ride that they deserved the top spots. In the under-14 category, Viktor Syrovátko placed first with 76.21 points.

In the +14 category, Mikuláš Čapek placed first with 84.26 points. He has been riding for quite some time, even though he mentioned that he doesn't train much in his old age.

From the -14 category, the Golden ticket goes to:
