Hi guys, I am Filip Brož and at the beginning of June I went with Martin Nogol to Romania, specifically to the city of Bucharest, where a smaller contest for local riders was held.
This entire trip started in Prague, from where we had a direct flight to Romania on Friday at 11:40, arriving around 14:00.
Straight from the airport, we went to the hotel where we checked in.
After a short rest, we went to explore the city and find a McDonald's, because honestly, we were afraid of their local menu, so we wouldn't spend the rest of the trip locked in the hotel bathroom.
After a hearty lunch at MC, we headed to the skatepark, which was a short distance from our hotel, so we were there within 3 minutes where our team rider from Germany and our two team riders from Romania were waiting for us.
We had a good ride, the skatepark pleasantly surprised us even though it didn't look that great, the obstacles were big and rideable.
Today is Saturday, the day when a contest is held at the skatepark.
The first night at the hotel was good except for the terrible heat.
We spent the whole day judging, and I can say that the local guys were really killing it. One of them pulled off a double backflip, and there were many other tricks to see, even though their conditions in Romania aren't very good.
And here is Sunday, the day of departure back to the Czech Republic.
We got to know a new city, skatepark, and riders. I would definitely rank this trip among the good ones, the entire trip went smoothly and we tried to shoot a small video for you.
In conclusion of this interview, I would like to thank Chilli for organizing the entire trip and Scootshop for our scooters on which we had a great time shredding the local park and street spots.
Here is the VLOG of how we were:
