Unboxing: Slamm Urban V8 Freestyle Scooter

Another unboxing is here! This time, we will take a look at the freestyle scooter Slamm Urban V8 Teal together.

In today's video, we unboxed the Slamm Urban V8 Teal freestyle scooter.

The scooter is packed really tightly, it doesn't move at all in the packaging, and the package includes instructions, griptape for the headtube, two Allen keys, and a sticker. 

Handlebars of the scooter are classic, steel, T-shaped with an outer diameter of 32 mm and an inner diameter of 28 mm. There are also smaller braces on the handlebars, the grips are standard, we like the end caps, they really turned out well in our opinion. Clamp is three-screw, it is larger than the notch, so it hides it and the handlebars themselves won't crack easily. The screws here are M8 with a 5mm Allen key. The handlebar height is 585 mm and the handlebar width is 533 mm. On the front of the handlebars is a multicolored SLAMM logo.

Next, we are interested in the scooter deck itself.

There are 110 mm wheels with an aluminum core and ABEC9 bearings here. There are also plastic caps and the brake is classic, steel, without a spring, and for a 3mm Allen key. The board features a standard griptape with a nice Slamm logo. The front of the board has a plastic cover again.The fork is aluminum, two-piece, welded, for integrated headsets. There are industrial bearings and an IHC compression system here. Neck of the board is welded.Integrated sealed headset NECO. 

Bottom of the board has high grind rails, which is great because the weld is hidden in the board. The length of the board is 478 mm, the width of the board is 155 mm, and the footspace is 315 mm. 

The total height of the scooter is 835 mm and the weight of the scooter is 3,750 g.

The scooter's load capacity is 100 kg.

Rating: What we would criticize about this scooter is the execution of the welds, which might be better for us. The second thing we would criticize about the scooter is that in the second part of the clamp, where the thread is located, there is a narrow space, so we would be afraid of stripping it, so be careful with that. A plus of the scooter is its weight; it is lightweight, making it perfect for the skatepark for more advanced riders. We like the scooter design. We recommend the scooter!
