the HMS Premium H5815 elliptical trainer falls into the Semi Commercial category and can therefore be used both in the home gym and in private clubs and hotel gyms. The biggest advantage of the model is the ballast system, which combines a classic, magnetic brake with the wind resistance known from Air Bikes. The combination of magnetic and linear loads along with the 8 kg weight wheel provide a smooth motion not possible with a conventional trainer.
the load is generated by a paddle wheel, which resembles a fan, its blades are perpendicular to the direction of motion and the air resistance is used during rotation. The load is directly proportional to the number of revolutions of the paddle wheel, clearly written - the faster you pedal, the greater the load.
a magnetic brake is basically a strong magnet that changes its distance from the load wheel by means of an electric motor, thus changing the load. The magnetic brake control has 24 positions and is automatically controlled by computer depending on the progress of the individual programs.
the combination of the two systems allows the load to be adapted to the actual needs or requirements.
the H5815 trainer is equipped with a modern computer with a clear LCD display that shows all data on one panel without the need to switch between them. The individual fields show the number of revolutions per minute, training time, heart rate (in case of load change), distance, calories burned, power and speed. The display in the middle shows the progress of the currently selected program.
on the keyboard there are buttons for Recovery program, Reset, or return to the main menu, mode selection, scrolling through individual programs, program for body fat measurement, a pair of buttons to change the load and a button to start or pause the workout.
there is also a mobile phone holder on the console.
