the HMS F1044 constrictors are designed for BFR (Blood flow restriction), or Kaatsu training, where the arm or leg is strangled. After strangulation, blood flow through the limb is reduced and muscle hypertrophy occurs. In this state, a much lower load is sufficient to strengthen the muscles than if we did not use the choke. This way of training is also suitable for rehabilitation, as it is done with much less weight and there is no strain on the joints.
due to blood flow limitations, training must be dynamic and the maximum choke time must not exceed 5 minutes. The most common workout flow looks like this:
